| Recycled Soil Manufacturing Technology, LLC (RSMT, LLC) is a woman-owned small family business established in 2003. RSMT, LLC has patented technology that can convert residual waste materials into fertile topsoil. RSMT has been tested and demonstrated by the US Army Corps of Engineers Waterways Experiment Station (now Engineer Research and Development Center) located in Vicksburg, MS at various sites across the nation. Materials used included lake and harbor sediment (dredged material) blended with cellulose (sawdust, bagasse, yardwaste, storm debris) and biosolids (animal manure and human biosolids) in patented formulations. RSMT applications included abandoned acid coal mineland reclamation, athletic fields (soccer and baseball), constructed wetlands, home landscaping, highway landscaping, landfill cover, nursery potting media and stormwater runoff bioretention areas (see 3 pictures below: l. to r. Before - Ditch ; After - Stormwater Bioretention Area ; After 0.3 inch Rainfall). RSMT can be applied to depleted soils such as military training land and agricultural land by blending existing site soil with locally available cellulose and biosolids according to RSMT formulations to improve fertility and stabilization of the site soil. | | |  | |
